Photo: Horses and a chewed fence by Pat Sadler
This month, I started welcoming sponsors to share their links in the sidebar of Little Observationist. I always love to click through the sidebar links on my favourite blogs to discover new sites and some talented photographers as well. To introduce you to my monthly sponsors, toward the end of each month, I’ll be sharing a post like this. The list will grow with time. Enjoy!
Sadler Garden Collections
Like the supportive parent he is, my dad was the first to sponsor this new blog. He runs his own company called Sadler Garden Collections as a side job in anticipation of his coming retirement. For as long as I can remember, my dad has been a creator. I have vivid memories of slipping my 7-year old feet into his too-big-for-me shoes and carrying a cup of tea from the back door to his shed in the garden which smelled of sawdust and varnish. I’ve helped set up many craft shows and more recently introduced him to Etsy where he sells his products: bird feeders, bird houses and other garden accents. He’s also a talented photographer and shares some of his work on his blog. My favourite recent posts are Fences Around the World series: Part 1 & Part 2.
Fascination by Elle Santos
Elle Santos is another hub of creativity. Have a wedding to attend and looking for a fascinator? Here you’ll find something a bit out of the ordinary. One of her latest creations is a woodland inspired fascinator that she created using lilac and cerise feathers, black sinamay twirls and a pair of cheeky looking blue birds. Another one of the latest that I love is the “chilli con hornet” fascinator. It includes a blake veil and, of course, bright red chillies and hornets! Definitely a conversation starter, so if you love a bit of attention, this one’s for you. Elle Santos also makes silk flower crowns which have a bit more of a boho vibe to them and names like “Spring Goddess” and “Nature Deity”. Find her on Twitter as well @ElleSantos_.
If you’d like to see your own blog or business in the sidebar here on Little Observationist, have a look at my Advertise / Work with me page. They are simple to set up and you can track your own success as you go along. See you tomorrow with some weekend links!
